Award Nominations

Employee of the Year Award
OSEA members are nominated by a fellow member to be Employee of the Year. Selections are reviewed by former presidents. The candidate is honored at Conference and holds the title for a full year. Member Advocate Award
Recipients of the Government Relations Member Advocate Award are recognized for their long history of participation and leadership in OSEA’s government relations programs and activities. To download an application and nominate an OSEA member for the Member Advocate Award, click here. Nominations are due March 1.

Lifetime Membership Award
Lifetime membership is the highest award for service that OSEA can bestow upon individuals who are or have been active members of the association, who have provided outstanding service on a statewide basis, and who have displayed an ongoing commitment to OSEA, its members and to the ideals of the labor movement. To download an application and nominate someone for lifetime membership, click here. Nominations are due March 1.

Newsy Awards
The Newsy Awards are presented at Conference each year to acknowledge the excellent work OSEA chapters do to inform, educate and entertain their members. Awards honor best use of newsletters, websites and social media. To be considered, nominate your chapters’ newsletter, website or social media electronically or with this printable form. Nominations are due by April 15.
